Vaccine Clinic at ICA Food Shelf

ICA Food Shelf has partnered with Hennepin County and Black Nurses Rock to offer a free COVID19 vaccine clinic on Friday, June 25.

We are excited to announce that starting Monday, May 3 ICA Food Shelf will be open for in-house shopping. When you arrive for your appointment, you will now have the choice to receive your food curbside or come inside to shop.

The pandemic has worsened economic conditions for many of those already struggling. Unfortunately we're realized families who were on the edge before the pandemic are now struggling every month, and need our services more than ever.

ICA is open and ready to help you! We have enough food to feed everyone in our community who needs help. We are non-judgmental, helpful, and available for everyone to use.

Of the many ways COVID has impacted our community, one of the most dire is the increase in food insecurity for our neighbors. Prior to the pandemic, 1 in 11 Minnesotans were food insecure; that number has now risen to 1 in 8.

Each spring, ICA awards two $500 scholarships to graduating seniors -- one to a Hopkins student and one to a Minnetonka student.

During the month of March, people throughout Minnesota come together to raise funds and collect food for their local food shelves. Traditionally the time of year when food shelves’ inventory was lowest, the March Campaign has become the largest grassroots food and fund drive in the state.
