ICA Market & Resource Centers
A new collaboration is bringing ica resources right into local school and community buildings
First launched in October 2021, the ICA Market & Resource Center at Gatewood Elementary was an entirely new concept of community outreach. Open to Gatewood Elementary families and students twice a week, the space is intended to address food insecurity and other barriers to stability. Families are welcome to make an appointment to receive groceries from a fully-stocked food market, while ICA relationship managers are on hand to provide additional resources. Since opening this first location, ICA has since partnered with other area schools to open market and resource centers inside Alice Smith Elementary and Hopkins West Junior High.
Current hours and locations:
Hopkins West Middle School: Thursdays 4:00 - 7:00 PM
Gatewood Elementary: Tuesdays 3:00 - 7:00 PM
Alice Smith Elementary: Wednesdays 3:00 - 7:00 PM
Minnetonka High School: Thursdays 12:30 - 4:30 PM (Only available via online order. Click here!)
