This holiday season, we are so grateful for all of the support for ICA—from individual gifts to company drives.
To show our appreciation, we wanted to highlight a few recent food drives that blew us away with their contributions and care for our neigbors in need.
KLC Financial’s Food Drive Competition
KLC Financial finished up their annual donation drive on Monday and what an incredible success it was! Greatly surpassing their total from last year, KLC Financial donated a total of 2038 pounds in goods for ICA—WOW!
To make donating extra fun, KLC Financial divided into 5 teams and competed to see who could donate the most items to ICA. Congratulations to the winning team—Team Gingerbread—who donated 596 pounds worth of goods for ICA!
Thank you KLC Financial for supporting our neighbors this holiday season and showing everyone how much fun it can be to give to ICA!
MHS Interact Club’s Drive for MHS Food Shelf and ICA
We are continually amazed and impressed by the work of students at Minnetonka High School! Last Saturday, the members of the Interact Club held a food drive for their student-run food shelf at MHS and for ICA. In total, ICA’s portion of the food drive totaled 1230 pounds! Thank you to all who supported the drive!
Alliance of Youth Leaders (AYLUS) Fundraiser for ICA
Did we mention how impressed we are with the support from students in our community? Well, here’s another impressive food drive from AYLUS! AYLUS held a fundraiser on November 18 and raised $1,000 for ICA. We are so thankful!
Feeling Inspired?
ICA receives its food in three ways: approximately 1/3 is purchased, 1/3 comes from our grocery store food rescue partners, and about 1/3 comes from food donations. ICA greatly relies on the generosity and support from community partners like the ones above in order to stock our shelves fully for our neighbors in need. Wanting to hold a food drive or fundraiser?
