The young adult years can bring about much change including; living independently, making decisions on a career path, developing significant relationships, and defining who you are and what you value in life. When a death is experienced during this developmental stage it impacts all these life adjustments that are taking place. Finding support and ways to cope with a significant death as a young adult can be difficult given limited resources available.

Presenter:
Katie Eisold has been working with children, teens, and families for over 20 years in both healthcare and within the grief community. She is a Certified Child Life Specialist and has vast experience facilitating grief groups for youth, young adults, and their caregivers. Prior to joining the Brighter Days Family Grief Center, Katie was the Program Manager for Fairview’s Youth Grief Services and Camp Erin®-Twin Cities Co-Director. Currently, Katie is leading the Young Adult programs at Brighter Days Family Grief Center.
